Galileo side-to-side alternating whole body vibration machines are made in Germany and acknowledged world-wide as the most robust, accurate and reliable available. Most scientific research supporting clinical use has been conducted using such machines.

The Galileo programme improves muscle action by affecting both the muscle itself and the nervous system (brain, spinal cord and nerves) which govern voluntary and reflex movements. The effect is better muscle tone and strength, more flexible joints, reduction in pain, better balance and walking speed, and better quality of life. The machine has been shown to be safe, with no side effects reported in the literature, after use by hundreds of thousands of people. The training results in similar force development and pain reduction as conventional strength training, but takes much less time.
Vibration training can be performed by people with heart problems because there is almost no effect of the training on the heart.
